Joseph “Wordy” Gallien, Sr. was born Sept. 17, 1937, in Lawtell, La. He was the eldest of eight sons born to the late Jack and Angelle (Green) Gallien.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at 8:45 a.m., and funeral service at 10:45 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lawtell, La.  Burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
