The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Taylor Dean Romero, 33, 672 S. Post Oak Road — obscenity. Bond: $50,000.

James A. Sumrall, 37, 3510 W. Prien Lake Road — battery of a dating partner-first offense; second-degree battery. Royce Joseph Morris, 28, Jeanerette — sale, distribution or possession of legend drug without prescription or order; drug possession; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS.

Javontaye Murphey Hamilton, 21, Duson — two counts direct contempt of court; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bond: $12,500.

Ronald James Wisby, 74, 2576 Foreman Road, Vinton — simple cruelty to animals. Bond: $5,000.

James E. Thorton Jr., 57, 124 W. Lee St., Sulphur — domestic abuse battery.

Kyle Aaron Langley, 27, 1665 Marilnn Ave., Moss Bluff — drug possession; transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses; attempt and conspiracy.
