In response to Hurricane Helene’s devastating impact, United Way Southwest Louisiana is providing support to United Way of the Big Bend in Tallahassee, Fla. They are leading a comprehensive relief Initiative to assist the affected communities along the Gulf Coast. We are calling on community members and national donors to contribute to the recovery and rebuilding efforts through the UNITED GULF Disaster Relief Fund.
United Way Southwest Louisiana has activated its Disaster Relief Fund to support other Gulf partners in their efforts to respond to Hurricane Helene. We urge the community and donors nationwide to contribute to the UNITED GULF Disaster Relief Fund to ensure timely aid reaches those severely affected by the hurricane. Contributions can be made through several methods:
– Online at unitedwayswla.org/donate

In addition to monetary donations, United Way Southwest Louisiana is accepting in-kind donations. Those interested can submit their contributions via a dedicated online form atunitedwayswla.org/inkind, ensuring efficient management and distribution of these vital resources.
