Paula Ann Carlberg, a beloved resident of Lake Charles, La., who passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born on Dec. 14, 1943  in Lake Charles, La., where she attended LaGrange High School.

She is survived by her children, Melissa (Jody) Louviere, Kevin (Rebecca) Carlberg, and Allison (Alvin) Mott, along with her cherished grandchildren, Bethany, Logan, Jay, and EJ, and great-grandchildren, Olivia and Josephine; sisters, Dorothy Terrell and Emma Sargent; father of her children, Tore Carlberg, and extended family and friends. 

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Alice Sargent, and one son, John Carlberg.

As per Paula’s wishes, you are invited to celebrate her life on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024 in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home beginning at 1 p.m., led by Chaplain Don Duplechian. Visitation will be held Thursday, beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service.
