Robert Lee Hebert, 82, of Sulphur, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024. Robert was born on Nov. 8, 1941 to Isaac and Emily Hebert. He was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. 

Robert was a member of the Lions Club and even served as President in 1972. He enjoyed listening to music of the 50’s. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting. He loved to travel with his best friend and wife, “Char”. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years, Charlyne Hebert of Sulphur; daughter, Stacy Hebert Peloquin and husband, Dean of Sulphur; granddaughter, Kennedy Rae’ Hebert and partner, August “Gus” Breaux of Sulphur; sisters, Gladys Roya of Sulphur, Judy Bishop of Houma, and Carolyn “Sue” Hebert of Sulphur; along with lots of nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Emily; son, Glenn Ray Hebert; and brothers-in-law, Bobby Roya and Frank Bishop.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024 at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Jon’ Jones will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Christian Church of Sulphur.
