Obry Gerard Beaudion

Obry Gerard Beaudion, 57, left this world to meet his parents on Sept. 4, 2024 at his home in Baton Rouge. He was born Aug. 9, 1967 in Shreveport, La. and adopted by his parents, Bud and Dolores Beaudion. He grew up in Lake Charles then moved to Baton Rouge where he worked in the hospitality business for many years.
Obry was a beloved son, father, grandfather and brother and will be missed by all.
Obry had a kind, gentle nature, and when friends or family were in a bind, he would help with whatever he could. He loved babysitting his grandson, Daniel, and cherished every moment. He was quick with a joke and could make anyone laugh. He enjoyed cooking, playing video games, watching Stargate and spending time with his family. Family meant everything to him.
He is survived by his grandson, Daniel Garrett; son, Dylan Garrett; sister, Lori Hughes (Chris); nephews, Jordan and Jacob Hughes, and his dog, Jack.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Bud and Dolores Beaudion
A memorial mass on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024 will be held at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Moss Bluff, La. at 10:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m.
