SW La. school lunch menus Sept. 16-20

The following menus for Sept. 16-20 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Hot dogs or corndogs, chili cup or mustard, French fries, steamed broccoli with cheese, apple, fruit cocktail.

TUESDAY: Beef of pork, rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, steamed carrots, peaches, orange.

WEDNESDAY: Nachos with jalapeno peppers, pinto beans, garden salad with tomato and dressing pears.

THURSDAY: Chicken spaghetti or Cajun chicken pasta, yam patty, coleslaw, banana, blueberries.

FRIDAY: Chicken fried beef or chicken tenders with white gravy, mashed potatoes or baked potato half with shredded cheese cup.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Waffle, scrambled eggs, banana, yogurt.

TUESDAY: Ham slice, grits, honey bun, apple, fruit cocktail.

WEDNESDAY: Biscuit, jelly, sausage patty, orange, peaches.

THURSDAY: Cinnamon rolls or bagels with cream cheese, breakfast chicken patty, pears, pineapple tidbits.

FRIDAY: Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft-filled bar or toast with jelly, cheddar cheese stick, banana, blueberries.

MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, potatoes and gravy, carrots, apple, roll.

TUESDAY: Soft chicken taco, Spanish rice, red beans, taco salad cup, fruit cup.

WEDNESDAY: Baked chicken, broccoli cheese rice, corn, mixed fruit, roll.

THURSDAY: Chicken Alfredo, corn, green beans, bread stick, strawberry cup.

FRIDAY: Ham and cheese roll, relish tray with dip, sweet potato fries, pear.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Cereal, toast, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Ham and cheese roll, sliced apples.

WEDNESDAY: Grilled cheese, pears.

THURSDAY: Scrambled eggs, toast, orange wedges.

FRIDAY: Chicken biscuit, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Fried rice, egg roll, sugar snap peas, strawberry cup, fortune cookie.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, fruit cocktail, broccoli and cheese, potato salad, crackers.

FRIDAY: Beefy nachos, applesauce cup, salsa cup, refried beans with cheese, flour tortilla.

TUESDAY: Breakfast burrito, watermelon.

WEDNESDAY: Pancake on a stick, orange wedges.
