Jane Marie Daniel Parker 77, passed away on Sept. 4, 2024. Jane was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and a graduate of W. O. Boston High School in 1964.

She was preceded in death by Elmer and Bessie Daniel, Annie Rochon, Joyce Marie Daniel, and infant brother.

Jane Parker worked at Cherry Street School as a school secretary and Calcasieu Parish School Board for 30 years in food service.  After retirement, she worked as a substitute teacher and school bus aide.

She leaves to cherish her memories Nonica A. Parker, Carl N (Kim) Parker, Keithon L. Parker, Brianna Parker, Layla Parker, Lakien Parker, Karlon Parker and Jaxson Parker; five sisters, Judy Guillory, Sherlie Daniel, Sharon Payne, Linda (August) Pete Jr. and Dwana Daniel.; godchild, Christopher Lee Guillory and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, extended families and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 1 p.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Memorial Service at 12 p.m., burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Stevens’ Funeral Home.  The Rev. Elmore Garner will officiate.
