Byron Chad Jones, 51, of Lake Arthur, La. entered eternal rest on Sept. 5, 2024, in Lafayette, La.  Chad was born on Aug. 23, 1973, to Patsy Ann Jones-Mczeal.

Byron was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Ann Jones-Mczeal; his maternal granparents, Dallas and Marjorie Jones, and his daughter, Alyssa Campbell.

Left to cherish his memories are his brother, Wayne Nelson Jones of Lake Charles, La.; his niece, Ambria Jones; his aunts, Regina Clark, Catherine Williams and Dinie Montgomery of Lake Charles, La. and Maydell Jones of Lake Arthur, La.; his cousins, Joseph Huntsberry of Pflugerville, Texas, Bardale (Melinda) Jones of Lake Arthur, La., Damon (Shawn) Jones of Beaumont, Texas, Chris (Ashley) Williams of Lake Charles, La., Cordale (Leah) Williams of Lake Charles, La., Marshall Huntsberry of Lake Charles, La., Stanley (Ayanna) Coleman II of Lake Charles, La., Dexter (Destinee) Montgomery of Lake Charles, La. and Dallas (Kayla) Montgomery and their one child of Lamarque, Texas, and his special friend, Maranda Dyson.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at First Baptist Church, in Lake Arthur, La.  Minister Damon Jones will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Arthur, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
