SW La. school lunch menus Sept. 9-13

The following menus for Sept. 9-13 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Chili and cornbread bowl or shepherd’s pie and homemade whole-wheat roll, chili beans green beans, orange, apricots.

TUESDAY: Jambalaya, vegetarian or kidney beans, mustard greens, pineapple tidbits, applesauce, vanilla grahams.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue or lemon pepper-baked chicken or fish sandwich with pickles, baked beans, sweet potato puffs, apple, sliced strawberries, brownie bite.

THURSDAY: Spaghetti or cheese ravioli, sweet peas, garden salad with cucumber, croutons, dressing, banana.

FRIDAY: Taquitos or cheese quesadillas, taco sauce or bean dip, Spanish rice, corn, pinto beans, banana, yogurt.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Pancake on a stick, string cheese stick, fruit cocktail, apple.

TUESDAY: Toast with jelly or egg bake bites, ham slice, orange, apricots.

WEDNESDAY: French toast and syrup, yogurt with granola, pineapple tidbits, applesauce.

THURSDAY: Breakfast pizza, cereal bar, apple, sliced strawberries.

FRIDAY: Pop-Tarts or muffins, sausage links, banana, pears.

MONDAY: Pizza, corn, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: General TSO’s chicken bites, fried rice with peas and carrots, broccoli, apple.

WEDNESDAY: Ham, broccoli cheese rice, sweet potatoes, peaches, rolls.

THURSDAY: Chicken spaghetti, black-eyed peas, garden salad, bread stick, apple crisp.

FRIDAY: Barbecue burger, waffle fries, sandwich salad, fruit cup.

MONDAY: Pancakes, syrup, pears.

TUESDAY: French toast, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Hash brown casserole, sliced apples.

THURSDAY: Sausage biscuit, mixed fruit.

FRIDAY: Cinnamon toast, ham, pears.

MONDAY: Corndogs, roasted potato wedges, tossed salad.

TUESDAY: Street ground beef tacos, salsa cup, ranchero beans, pineapple tidbits, sugar cookie.

WEDNESDAY: Lasagna roll ups, tossed salad, honeydew, cantaloupe, seasoned green beans, Italian roll.

THURSDAY: Beef meatballs with gravy over rice, black-eyed peas, mustard greens, grapes, honey wheat roll.

FRIDAY: Chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese sandwich, mixed vegetables, fruit.

MONDAY: Glazed donut holes, yogurt, red and green apples.

TUESDAY: Grits, cinnamon toast, apple slices.

WEDNESDAY: Waffles, Mandarin oranges.

THURSDAY: Scrambled eggs, hashbrown bites, toast, pears and blueberries.

FRIDAY: Crunchy cereal, bananas.

TUESDAY: Barbecue-loaded baked potato, buttermilk biscuits, chocolate granola, corn, strawberry cup.

WEDNESDAY: Hot ham and cheese on a bun, crinkle cut fries, red apple.

THURSDAY: Oven-roasted glazed chicken wings, creamy mac and cheese, cornbread poppers, dark green salad with cherry tomatoes, baked beans, Mandarin oranges.

THURSDAY: Taco salad with cups, Mexicana corn, taco salad cup, fruit, raisin bread.

FRIDAY: Barbecue baked chicken, white northern beans, broccoli with rice and cheese, cantaloupe, cornbread.
