Terry Max Tucker

Terry Max Tucker, 80, a resident of Moss Bluff, La., passed from this life on Aug. 21, 2024, in a local care facility.
Mr. Tucker was the pastor of Talleys’ Chapel Pentecostal Church in Sun, La. for over 20 years and served as the director of Harvestime Radio Program for over 15 years. After his retirement from ministry, he was a gate guard for CT Security. Mr. Tucker was a United States Marine who served honorably in the Vietnam War. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends. Terry enjoyed his solitude and peace.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Duvan W. Tucker and Cammie Mercer Tucker; son, Troy Tucker, and his siblings, Marlon Tucker, Willie Tucker, Donald Tucker, Clyde Tucker, Cris Roberts, and Willie Mae Howard.
Mr. Tucker leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 62 years, Juanita Wyatt Tucker; daughters, Rene’ Kibodeaux and husband, Paul Kibodeaux and Sheila Tucker; grandchildren, Jennifer Racca, Wayne Sims, Amanda Strange, Kandi Monceaux, and Justin Tucker, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Bryan Tucker, Curt Tucker, Austin Faucheux, Benjamin Tucker, Joey Monceaux, and Brandon Dawson. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Sims, Justin Tucker, and Lowell Wyatt.
The Family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home from 8 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. The Rev. Rick Treece and the Rev. Rodney Bankens are to officiate. Private burial with Military Honors will follow at Westlake Memorial Park.
