Visitation for Calvin Russell Deshotel “Disco Duck” will be Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, from 11 a.m. with his funeral following at 1 p.m., at New Faith Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of James Funeral Home.  Mr. Deshotel leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Stephanie Sias Deshotel; son, Russell Craig (Candace) Deshotel; stepson, Mark (Brandi) Cook; mother, Dorothy L. Deshotel; brother, Robert L. Deshotel, and grandchildren, Jamani Deshotel, Russell C. “Pop” Deshotel Jr., Cailyn and Carlin Deshotel, Ma’Laiya, M’Khyia, Mijah, and Maddyn Cook.  He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Deshotel, and sister, Jeannie M. Deshotel Gatson.
