Martha Stein of Sulphur, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024 at home. She was born on July 17, 1934, to her parents, Luke and Helen Dugas. Martha worked at K-Mart for over 30 years and was the personnel manager at retirement.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pamela Vincent; brother, Luke Dugas; sister, Iris Ledoux (Darrell); three grandchildren, Natalie Schuren (Jason), Jessica Miller, Mack Hessifer (Erica); three great-grandchildren, Colby, Carson, and Cruz Hessifer; nephews, Alan Dugas, Darrell W. Ledoux; niece, Melissa Kotel; five special great-grand nieces, and one special great-grand nephew, whom she considered her grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by by her husband, David Stein; sister, Mary Firmature.

Services for Martha will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at 12 p.m. The family will receive guest from 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday. Burial to follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss.
