Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Gary “Stitch” Guillory is excited to announce the introduction of new unit markings for its fleet.

“The new unit markings are more than just a visual update; they enhance the visibility of our vehicles, which is crucial for public safety and officer presence,” Guillory said. “By completing this project in-house, we can remain fiscally responsible with tax payers’ dollars, while making changes and improvements, a testament to our dedication to serving the community effectively and efficiently.”

The process of updating the CPSO fleet’s unit markings will be completed in planned phases, allowing us to maintain operational efficiency.   This plan will create a seamless transition to the new design across the entire fleet.  By completing this in-house it will significantly reduce the overall costs associated with this project.

“The updated markings, which were designed by a group of deputies from around the department, features a modern look with reflective elements, ensuring visibility during both day and night,” Guillory said. “This update underscores our commitment to community safety while maintaining a professional and approachable image.”
