Kennedy announces $1.3 million in Hurricane Laura aid for Cameron Parish’s Creole Park

U.S. Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced a $1,281,178 Federal Emergency Management Agency grant for Louisiana disaster aid.
“Hurricane Laura swept through south Louisiana, leaving behind destruction. This $1.3 million will help Cameron Parish restore Creole Park so that Louisianians can continue to enjoy our state’s outdoor recreation,” Kennedy said.
The FEMA aid will fund the the permanent restoration to the Creole Park as a result of Hurricane Laura.
