Lake Charles Police are searching for a man wanted in a bank robbery that happened Friday morning at a financial institution in the 2900 block of Ryan Street.

Lt. Jeffrey Keenum said officers were called as the robbery was in progress.

​“Prior to officer’s arrival, the unknown suspect departed with an undetermined amount of currency,” Keenum said.
