Jarvis Lavelle “Buck” Parker, 84, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, with his wife by his side.

The family has honored Buck’s wishes of cremation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

He was born on Feb. 21, 1940, to Alton Parker and Carol Whatley Parker. He worked as a Chemical Engineer and was proud of his accomplishments. Buck was a loving person that always had that friendly smile and helpful hand. He loved being outdoors, whether it was spending hours in his favorite hunting grounds or casting his line in the tranquil waters, Buck found peace and joy in nature.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend of 44 years, Debbie Parker, and his pup, Angel Bug.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
