Robert Francis Lowe Sr., 55, a resident of Lake Charles, passed away, on March 22, 2024, in the comfort of his home.

Bobby, as he was affectionately known, was a loving husband and father. He was an amazing cook and loved music. He was a devoted grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bobby was a painter by trade and worked diligently to provide for his family. 

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Travis Lowe; brothers, Irvin “Jack” Lowe, Douglas “Randy” Lowe, and Donald “John Boy” Walton; stepfather, Leonard Sternburg, and nephew Jacob LaFleur.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Janet LaFleur Lowe; children, Robert Lowe Jr. and wife, Tiffany, and Lauren Lowe; mother, Vada Bell Sternburg; siblings, Johnny Dale, Keith, Darnell, Dorman, John, Joseph, Timothy, Sue, Barbara, Jackie, and Sherry; grandchildren, Marcus Nance III, Presley, Peyton, Parker, Piper, and Penelope Lowe.

The family will receive friends on March 28, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Church of the Nazarene located at 3940 Holly Hill Road, Lake Charles, LA 70607. A celebration of Robert’s life will follow at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.
