A 57-year-old Jennings man died Sunday after he lost control of his ATV, on Elton Drive, just north of Koll Road in Jeff Davis Parish, authorities said.

Terry L. LeJeune was driving a 2012 Honda FourTrax Rancher south on Koll Road shortly before 3:45 a.m., when he lost control of the ATV, according to Trooper First Class Derek Senegal. The ATV overturned, ejecting LeJeune, he said.

LeJeune, who sustained serious injuries, was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Troop D has investigated two fatal crashes resulting in two deaths in 2024.
