The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Saturday night.

Spokesperson Kayla Vincent said the shooting happened just before 8 p.m. in the area of W. Tank Farm Road and Sailfish Drive in Lake Charles.

She said the shooting left one dead.

“The investigating is in the preliminary stages and no further information is available at this time,” Vincent said.
