On Wednesday, March 13, from noon -1 p.m., the city of Lake Charles will host a CEO Roundtable featuring Larry Avery, managing partner/owner of Big Easy Foods and co-founder of Crying Eagle.

The free event will be held in the Lake Charles City Council Chambers, located at 326 Pujo St.

“Our CEO Roundtable Series has quickly become a popular offering for those interested in the world of business,” said Mayor Nic Hunter. “These forums provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs, current and aspiring, to hear the personal stories of growth from innovative CEOs who are willing to share their lessons learned with others. We are honored to have Larry Avery join us for this next edition.”

Avery, a Lake Charles resident, represents the very definition of the word entrepreneur. He is described as a master of discovering small business ideas and turning them into profitable and successful ventures. One of his most recognizable success stories is the Turducken produced at Big Easy Foods. He brings with him decades of experience in all types of business ventures.
