LAKE ARTHUR – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mr. Bennett Neil David, 70, on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with The Rev. Jay Alexius officiating. Burial will follow in Shell Beach Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 9  a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday morning and will close at 10:40 a.m. for the procession to church.

Mr. David was born on Nov. 13, 1953, in Gueydan, La. to Dallas “TT” David and Evelyn Dugas David. He graduated from Gueydan High School in 1971. He worked in the agricultural industry as a farmer.

Those left to cherish his memory are three sisters, June (Nathan) Douget, Annie Duplechin, Ruth (Greg) Linscombe; and five nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Calise David.
