Gay Schrumpf Fullerton

Gay Schrumpf Fullerton, loving sister, mother, and grandmother went to her heavenly rest on Feb. 11, 2024. Gay was the third child (of five) to Oliver John Schrumpf and Dorothy Mae “Fritz” Isaac Schrumpf, who preceded her in death. Gay is survived by her three children, Crystal Fullerton, Kelli Fullerton, and Brandon Fullerton (Evelyn) of Pasadena, Texas. Gay was overjoyed to shower her love on her grandchildren, Ana and Troy. Gay was born in Nov. 1953. She is survived also by her brothers and sister, Oliver “Jackson” Schrumpf, Colleen Schrumpf Dolan, Charles Schrumpf, and Andy Schrumpf. Gay was a 1971 graduate of Sulphur High School and San Jacinto Community College. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant at the Blue Bird Rhett Center at Baylor College of Medicine. Gay was an active member of the Faith Assembly of God of Pasadena, where she served in the Stephen Ministry. In addition, she was an advocate and a coach for the Pasadena Special Olympics, where she coached multiple sports over various levels. Gay will be remembered for her joy, laughter, servant’s heart and faith in God’s word.
A celebration of Gay’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 24, 2024 at Faith Assembly of God of Pasadena, 3940 Vista Road, Pasadena, Texas.
