Charles Roderick Dartez, age 72, of Ragley, La. passed away in his home on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born on Feb. 14, 1951 in Lake Charles to Glovia Dartez and Marjorie Humphrey Dartez.

Charles worked as a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator and was a member of the Local 406. Charles loved going to car shows in his spare time.

Charles was preceded him in death by his son, Arnold Dartez; his parents; and his brothers, Arlan and Leonard Dartez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Peggy White Dartez; daughter, Jamie Benjamin (Bobby); grandchildren, Savannah, Brylie, Kaelyn, Payton, and Courtney; brothers, Ronnie Dartez and Danny Dartez (Sherry); sisters, Amanda Vaughn, Gloria Daigle, Lorita Reeds (Robbie), and Beverly Dartez; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. The Rev. Bill Saxby will officiate services.
