Norma Jean Keene, 92 years old, passed away on Jan. 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Lake Charles, La. She was born and raised in Lake Charles, La. Norma was a graduate of Lake Charles High, where she was a member of the Kilties marching group. She was a retiree of AT&T Telephone Company. She loved gardening, going on many adventures, and most definitely being in the outdoors.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Paula Gail Morgan; her son, Mike Tauzin, and her sister, Helen Self. She leaves behind eight grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Gladys Williamson; two brothers, Russell and Gordon Williamson, and two sons, Guy Keene and Steven Tauzin.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of the Heart of Hospice. Especially Sherri, Julie, and Ashley.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
