Celebration of Life Services for Josephine Simon, 92, of Roanoke, La. will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Roanoke, La., with the Rev. Berthel Lewis officiating.  Visiting is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Eastridge Cemetery in Welsh, La. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Simon Sr; her sons, Joseph Wayne Simon and Jason Max Simon; her parents, Ivy Cretchan and Elijah Jackson; sister, Rosella Andrus; brothers, Felton Jackson and Eugene Jackson; grandchildren, Heather Savoy, LaToyha Savoy, and Kendra Johnson.

Josephine is survived by her children, Lionel Simon (Kathryn) of Newport News, Va., John Simon Jr. (Saprina) of Roanoke, La., Sandra Simon of Welsh, La., Carol Antoine of Roanoke, La., Drusilla Fontenot (Hampton) of Jennings, La., and Melinda Simon of Los Angeles, Calif., a host of other relatives and friends.
