Greta Kaye Thibodeaux Veillon passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2024 in her home after a very brave and courageous battle with cancer.

She is preceded in death by her father, Preston Thibodeaux, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barbara and Aaron Veillon.

Left to cherish her wonderful memory is her husband of 33 years, Lane Veillon; daughter, Emilee Veillon; mother, Kathy Thibodeaux; granddaughter, Collyns; siblings, Troy Thibodeaux and wife, Joleen, Kevin Thibodeaux and wife, Karen, and Tessa Thibodeaux and companion, Richard Miller. Greta is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. 

Visitation begins Thursday in the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m., and will resume Friday at 9 a.m. until the time of service.
