The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Josiah Malachi Perry, 20, 1505 23rd St. — drug possession; possession of synthetic marijuana, first offense; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; proper equipment required on vehicles; view outward or inward through windshield or windows obscured. Bond: $11,500.

Joe Angel Cazares, 21, Baytown, Texas — simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; theft from $25,000 or more; simple burglary. Bond: $70,000.

Paul Weir, 51, Cedar Creek, Texas — illegal possession of stolen things from $5,000 but less than $25,000; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $22,000.

Terrez John King, 26, 5001 Pecan Acres Drive No. 32 — theft of a motor vehicle from $25,000 o r more; aggravated assault; resisting an officer; simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000. Bond: $60,000.

Kahif Micheal Kemp, 36, Houma — unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Bond: $5,000.

Roy James Smith, 54, 1835 Fox Run No. 3 — direct contempt of court; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); operating while intoxicated, third offense; hit-and-run driving; possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles.

Dustin Jon Todd Kimball, 49, 103 Robert St., Merryville — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment.

Demond Raynard Diggs, 22, 2004 Brenda St. — illegal carrying of weapons, first offense; aggravated assault with a firearm. Bond: $475,000.

Derick Joseph Moore, 42, 1605 Cactus Drive — simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; domestic abuse battery.

Earl Bennett, 55, Houma — possession of synthetic marijuana, first offense; drug possession; entry on or remaining places or on land after being forbidden; obstruction of justice. Bond: $25,000.

Brandon Ramon Rickett, 39, Mount Bayou, Miss. — three counts drug possession; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $26,000.

Damontre Damon Thomas, 27, 2018 Orchid St. — three counts direct contempt of court; maximum speed limit; child endangerment law-operating a vehicle while intoxicated, first or second offense; aggravated flight from an officer; aggravated assault with a motor vehicle upon a peace officer; aggravated criminal damage to property.
