Barbara Sonnier, age 80, of Westlake, La. passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023. She was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church where she served on the Ladies Alter Society and the Rosary Group. Barbara was born in Jennings to EP and Annie Deshotel LaFleur. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley Lee Sonnier; a son, Wendell Lyn Sonnier; two brothers, Allen Ray and Patrick LaFleur. She is survived by two sons, Westley Sonnier and wife, Rachel, of LeBleu Settlement and Lane Sonnier and wife, Laurie, of LeBleu Settlement; a sister, Carol Thomas; grandchildren, Lori, Cody, Chelsie, Kaycie, Jacob, Eathan, Chasity and Austin, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 29, 2003 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. in St. John Bosco Catholic Church with interment to follow at Westlake Memorial Gardens in Westlake.
