Kevin Wayne Davis

Kevin Wayne Davis, 60, a resident of Lake Charles and native of Baton Rouge, passed from this life onto his eternal reward on Dec. 21, 2023, in a local hospital.
Kevin was a loving husband, grandfather, and brother. He loved fishing, dogs, working out, shoes, snakeskin boots, and basketball, and he loved all things LSU. Kevin was a concrete finisher by trade and excelled at it. Kevin was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and knew Him as his Lord and Savior.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Leona Woods Davis Sr.; his siblings, Leon Daivs Jr., Melissa Davis, and Jennifer Davis; and his mother-in-law, Sybil A. Richard.
Mr. Davis leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 27 years Alberta Myers Davis; children, Kevin Tennard, Heath Martin, Nikki Ratliff and husband Quinten, Shawn Myers and wife Shugg; siblings, Wanda Davis, Linda Palmer, Debra Davis, Dennis Davis and wife Sandy, Lisa Davis, Bryan Davis and wife Tawanda; grandchildren, Andrea Martin, Alexander Martin, Alyssa Ceasar, Alexis Myers, Garrett LeBleu; great-grandchildren, Ambryia Martin, Greyson Myers, Dakari Martin, and Paityn Rose Myers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, from 11 a.m. until time of service in the Sanctuary of First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Rodney Bankens is to officiate. Cremation will follow the service.
