A 14-year-old Moss Bluff Middle School student has been arrested after making a threat against the campus.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kayla Vincent said their office were notified Wednesday that the student made threats to “blow up the school” and “shoot up the school.”

Vincent said after further investigation he was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with menacing.  T

he Calcasieu Parish School Board assisted in the investigation.
