Lynn C. Miller, age 88, of Lake Charles, La. passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023. He was born June 8, 1935 in Lake Charles to Clophas and Odeal Miller.

Lynn was raised in Grand Lake, La. until he married Billie Marie in 1955 and moved to Lake Charles. He served in the Naval Reserves and was a member of the Sulphur Jaycees. Lynn worked for and retired with Hercules/Himont-Lyondell after more than 30 years of service.

Those left to cherish four children, Janice Trahan, Jeffery Miller and wife, Kathy, Jill Miller, and Jon Miller and three grandchildren, Jordan Miller and wife, Sydney, Jody Miller and wife, Madison, and Jesse Miller.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clophas Miller and Odeal Demarest Miller; wife of 62 years, Billie Marie Huval Miller, and two brothers, Richard Gordon Miller and Stanley Martin Miller. 

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 beginning at 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. led by Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux. Burial will be immediately following at Highland Memory Gardens.
