Margaret Anne was born to Weldon and Clora Vital Mason in Sacramento, Calif. on Feb. 17, 1952.

A 1970 graduate of W.O. Boston, Margaret attended McNeese State University before returning to Sacramento. She and Jodie Weatherall had one child, Brandi Rene.

Margaret a member of the VFW, Zeta Amicae, the American Legion and the Christian Baptist Church, Women’s Ministry, bible study,  and the Senior Usher Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jodie Weatherall, and brother-in-law Thomas K. White Sr. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Brandi Rene Weatherall, beloved grandchildren, Terra Morris, Langston Morris and Kendalynn Jones. Her “big” sister, Christiana Mason White, nephews, Thomas K. White Jr. (Godson), Michael J. White and niece, Carolynn N. White.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Christian Baptist Church on N Franklin Street in Lake Charles.  Funeral to follow at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, and according to Margaret’s wishes, the family requests that donations be made to support Terra’s continued academic pursuit at Vanderbilt University.
