Edwina Aline Bell, 90, of Sulphur, La. passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023. She was born to her late parents, Thomas and Georgia Waldrup on Jan. 28, 1933 in Pollock, La. She and her husband, Bobby were faithful members of Houston River Baptist Church for a number of years. Edwina had her pilot’s license and flew private airplanes. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons, Tommy Bell (Catherine) of Sulphur, La. and Lindsey Bell (Kathy) of Moss Hill, Texas; four grandchildren, Robert Bell (Samantha), Jared Bell (Marianne), Derek Bell (Jackie), and Whitney Lowery (Jimmy); along with her five great-grandchildren.
Edwina is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Bell, along with her parents.
A Celebration of Edwina’s life will be held at Houston River Baptist Church in Sulphur, La. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at 1 p.m., with Bro. Lonnie Gothrup officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday, beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss, La.
