Marie Margie Jenkins born Nov. 19, 1932, in Lawtell, La. to the late Gabrielle and Ella D. Simon. She peacefully transitioned Nov. 4, 2023, from Landmark of Lake Charles to her eternal resting place with her Lord and Savior. Margie is survived by one son, David Christopher Jenkins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Jenkins; four sisters, one brother.  Memorial service, 10 a.m., Nov. 18, 2023, Immaculate Heart Church, Father Shaji Jose officiating.  Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, James Funeral Home directing.
