Juanita Marlene Vincent, 90, of Sulphur, La. passed away on Nov. 16, 2023, in a local care facility surrounded by her loving family. Juanita was born in Huntsville, Texas, on March 5, 1933, to Martin and Ercle Deason.

Juanita enjoyed being a nurse and worked at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital for 30 years. She attended Olivet Baptist Church.  Juanita enjoyed being creative with her sewing and cooking for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronnie Vincent and wife Joy; grandchildren, Jamie Mitchell (Mark Mitchell), and Jared Vincent; great grandchildren, Kailie Simon, and Claire Vincent; sister, Joyce Coleman; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Deason, Jack Deason, Cheryl Deason, Tim Coleman, and Rachel Watkins.  She is preceded in death her husband, Cecil Vincent; parents, M.F. and Ercle Deason; brothers, Kermit Deason, Billy Deason and Lee Deason.

The family would like to give special thanks to Heart of Hospice, Stonebridge Place, and especially her sitter Ms. Lisa Sonnier.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.

Paul Bearers will be Jared Vincent, Mark Mitchell, Chris Simon, Kirk Seay, Will Baty, and Jack Deason.
