Muriel Vivian Littleton, 96, of Westlake, La. passed away on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023. Muriel was born on Aug. 24, 1927 in Evans, La.

Muriel worked as a Waitress outside the home, but was an exceptional homemaker. She loved baking, cooking, taking care of her home and her family. Muriel was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who will be missed greatly. 

Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, James Littleton; sons, Walter Virgil Littleton and Johnny Littleton; grandson, Jake Littleton; her parents, Allen and Omie Hennigan; her brother, James Hennigan, and her sister, Faye H. Parker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter-in-law, Brenda Littleton; grandchildren, Todd, Charles,  and Shelly Littleton; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of her funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Rev. Andy Buckley will officiate. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery in Leesville.
