Kenneth Allen Lamb, age 92, of Lake Charles, La. passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Kenneth proudly served his country for 20 plus years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 0001, Swinging Rebels Square Dance Club, avid golfer and fisherman, and retired from the United States Post Office. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, David A Lamb; his parents, Hobert and Dorothea Lamb; sister, Jeanette McGarty, and a brother, Paul Hennager.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nelda Lamb; daughters, Kathy Chlumsky (Frank) of Muldoon, Texas and Debra Lamb David (Gary) of Lake Charles, La.; grandchildren, Jennifer Dong (Kenny), Summer Smith (Benjamin Williams), Darren David (Courtney), and Dana Theriot (Paul); great-grandchildren, Connor & Hunter Dong, Olivia & Marcus Williams, Brennan, Gretchen, Mathis, & Kenneth Fritz David, Miranda and Brayden LaBove, and Layton and Grayson Theriot; a sister, Joyce Kelberer of Bolivar, Mo.; extended family, Donie and Rebecca Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home with his funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. with Rev. Weldon Bares officiating. Burial will follow at Prien Lake Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Charles.
