Eva Marie McBride, 67, of Sulphur, La. passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023. She was born to her late parents, Fred and Ruby Ardoin on Feb. 15, 1956 in Sulphur, La. She enjoyed listening to the Beatles and collecting their music. Most of all, she loved spending time with her dog, Benji, whom she loved very much.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Roy McBride; son, Charles McBride (Regina) of Sulphur, La.; daughter, Brandy Davis (Robert) of Midland, Texas; sister, Rita Carrier of Sulphur, La.; along with three grandchildren, Brooke McBride, Kade McBride, and Jenna McBride. 

Eva is preceded in death by her parents, along with her brother, Fred Ardoin Jr.

A Celebration of Eva’s life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home in Sulphur, La. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at 10 a.m., with Father John Welch officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, from 5 p.m .until 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss, La.
