A Lake Charles teenager has been arrested in a late Saturday night shooting on Bruce Drive that left six injured during a house party.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said when deputies arrived they learned several individuals were suffering from gunshot wounds. She said a fight broke out during the party and at some point Artavien Green, 17, produced a firearm and six were shot.

Vincent said Green was located Sunday night and charged with five counts of aggravated second-degree battery; attempted second-degree murder; illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile; and illegal use of a dangerous weapon during a crime of violence.

Vincent said the victims — who range in age from 15 to 19 — were all transported to a hospital for treatment. One of the victims is listed in critical condition.
