Scot Keasler

Scot Keasler was born in New Iberia, La. on May 21, 1974 to Bobby and Linda Keasler.
Scot was a loving father and son. He was an inspiration and mentor to so many young people as a special education teacher and football coach. His loving, caring, compassionate heart made him a much loved teacher. His love for his players and skill made him a highly successful, much loved, and respected coach. His impact will be forever remembered. Many of those players still call him “Pops.”
Scot Keasler is survived by his children Haley Keasler of Jackson, Tenn., Ashlyn Keasler of Lake Charles, La., Gunnar Keasler of Franklin, Tenn., and Landry Keasler of Havre de Grace, Md., and his grandson Easton Deleon-Keasler of Martin, Tenn. He is also survived by his parents Bobby and Linda Keasler of Lake Charles, La. and his sister Angie Quinn (Dave) in Lake Charles, La., and his fiancée Trinity Swallow of Monroe, La. Scot is also survived by his niece and nephews Kaylin Landry of Lake Charles, La., Trey Quinn of Lake Charles, La., and Carter Quinn of Lake Charles, La. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Rudy and Flo Barras of New Iberia, La., Fred and Earline Bourque, and great-grandmother Mozelle Lollar of New Iberia, La.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 at 1 p.m. Dr. John Robert Black will officiate. Visitation will take place at the funeral home following the service until 4 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
