Geneva Dupin Haymark

Geneva Dupin Haymark, 100, was born in Lake Charles to Olive Bonvillain and Homer Dupin on Jan. 29, 1923. 

She was a native resident of Lake Charles prior to moving to Lafayette in 1997. She enjoyed cooking and was known for making excellent fried chicken. She will be missed by all who know her.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; a sister, Lorraine Monti; two brothers, A.J. and Melvin Dupin; her husband, C.R. Jack Haymark; her daughter, Cheryl Haymark Moore, and son-in-law, Bobby Moore.

She is survived by her beloved son, Richard Haymark (Elda); the light of her life, her eight grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at 2 p.m. Rev. Ed Lemke will officiate. The burial will take place in Highland Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
