Elizabeth “Liz” Ann West, 64, of Vinton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in DeQuincy, La. on Sept. 24, 1959. Liz enjoyed fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros. She was very involved in her church, Crossroads Baptist where she worked Vacation Bible School and the sound “A.V.” for church and funeral services. Liz was also over the food department for funerals and the food pantry.  She enjoyed spending time camping, playing card games, and just being with her family, including her dogs and cats. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Monica Ann Courville (D.J.), Sabrina West (Dustin Williams); brothers, Greg Warren and K.B. Warren (Tammy); sisters, Vicky Griffith (Don) and Lindy Loftin (Kyle); along with her inlaws, nieces and nephews. 

Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold West, and her mother, Frances Warren.

A Celebration of Liz’s life will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church in Vinton, La. on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023 at 6 p.m., with Bro. Rob Tibbitts officiating. Visitation will be at Crossroads Baptist Church on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Thursday, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
