Lake Charles Police are investigating a weekend shooting on Broad Street that left one dead and three injured. 

Deputy Chief Franklin Fondel said officers responded to the shooting just before midnight in the area of the Y2K Nightclub. Fondel said four victims suffered gunshot wounds — two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment via private means and Acadian Ambulance transported two victims to a local hospital for treatment.

At approximately 1:13 a.m., 23-year-old Paige Gorne Ceasar, succumbed to injuries sustained as a result of the shooting, Fondel said.

Of the three remaining victims, one was treated and released and the other two remain in a local hospital in stable condition.
