David McClain Evans Sr., 62, was known to some as “Duck” and others as “Cheesey.” He was born Nov. 18, 1960, in Lake Charles, La. to Samuel Evans and Loritha Richard Evans. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, at 11 a.m., and funeral service at 12 p.m., at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
