CPPJ to hold two public meetings on disaster recovery projects

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury will hold two public meetings to gather input on the development of potential disaster recovery projects using $26.7 million in funding allocated by the state through the Hometown Revitalization Program and Resilient Communities Infrastructure Program.
These public meetings will provide an overview of the two recovery programs and offer the public an opportunity to share questions, concerns and suggestions.
Meetings dates, times:

Additionally, a public comment period will take place from Sunday, Sept. 17 through Saturday, Oct. 28. Residents can submit comments in person at one of the public meetings or by emailing publiccomment@calcasieuparish.la.
Input collected at these meetings, as well as information and input gathered through the Police Jury’s ongoing disaster recovery efforts, will be used to develop a recovery proposal submitted to the Louisiana Office of Community Development that outlines how the Police Jury will utilize funds for these two programs.
