Dana Ray Walsh-Falcon, 55, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in her home in Addis, La. 

Dana was a native and longtime resident of Vinton and had been a resident of Addis for the last seven years. She had been the owner and operator of Meme’s Cafe in Addis. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.  

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Michael Falcon of Addis; her children, Brittani Lockhart of Sulphur, Brock Patin of Sulphur, Christian Falcon and wife, Stephanie of Zachary, and Ryan Paige Johnson and husband, Kevin of Eunice; her father, James Walsh of Sulphur; her brother, Greg Walsh of Sulphur; her mother-in-law, Bernadine Nelams of Opelousas; her father-in-law, Robert McBride of Eunice; and nine grandchildren, Dakota Boudreaux, Eli Martin, Peyton Johnson, Mason Johnson, Summer Johnson, Royce Johnson, Audrey Falcon, Elise Falcon, and Kayce Falcon. She is preceded in death by her mother, Kay Walsh.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2 p.m. -4 p.m. Sunday, September 10, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.  The family would like to give special thanks to Performance Contractors in Baton Rouge for their excellent support during Dana’s employment and illness.
