Tisa Renée Calabretta Burgett, age 29, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away at 10 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023. Born on December 12, 1993, in Lake Charles. She embarked on a journey filled with love, friendship, and laughter.

Tisa’s early years were marked by her education at Sulphur High School and the joyous union with her soulmate, Robert Burgett, in November 2016. Professionally, Tisa thrived as a Beauty Advisor, offering her expertise and enhancing the beauty of others. She found joy in the company of her cherished friends and fur babies. She loved creating her own recipes, singing, painting, and traveling.

Love was the cornerstone of Tisa’s life. She was a beacon of positivity, spreading laughter wherever she went. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her.

Tisa will be forever cherished by her loving husband, Robert Burgett, who was blessed to share twelve years, seven married, of profound love and companionship. She is survived by her parents, Anthony and Monique Calabretta, her In-Laws, Peggy Cash (Kenneth, Jr.) and Bob Burgett (Jane). Her memory lives on through her siblings, Anthony, IV (Riley), Melissa Ruskowsky (Kyle), and Jonathan, as well as extended family.

In her passing, Tisa reunited with her beloved grandmothers, Joyce Calabretta and Gwen Duplechin, and her uncle, Elmer “Gene” Faulk. She was also preceded in death by her In-Laws, Jim Harvey, Sheri Torrey, and Kenneth Cash, Sr.

A funeral service honoring Tisa’s life will take place at 12 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, La. She will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the commencement of the service.

In the embrace of faith, family, and fond memories, Tisa Renée Calabretta Burgett’s light will continue to shine in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
