U.S. 171 — from Leesville to Anacoco — is now closed as firefighters continue to battle the wildfires.

Mandatory evacuations have also been issued for Lions Camp, West Hawthorne, Ford Stewart and Lake Vernon roads and Ronayne Drive in Vernon Parish.

La. 27 south of Ball Road to Singer remains closed on La. 110 in Beauregard Parish.

La. 389 is being reopened.

Shelters have been opened at First Methodist Church and First Baptist Church, both in DeRidder, and Grace Assembly in Hornbeck.
