Evans, Merryville, Singer post offices closed due to wildfires

The Tiger Island fire in Beauregard Parish has prompted the temporary suspension of several post offices.
Due to mandatory evacuations and safety concerns, retail and delivery operations have been temporarily suspended at the following locations:
Evans Post Office: 19158 Highway 111
Merryville Post Office: 3035 Highway 110 W
Singer Post Office: 9068 Highway 27
In the interim, customers at these offices can retrieve packages and mail, including Post Office Box mail, with proper ID and obtain retail services at the DeRidder Post Office, 116 E. 4th St., DeRidder, LA 70634.
Retail hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and closed Sunday.
